Market Leading Innovation, Technology And Service

Working with local authorities and the biggest names in waste management, our service levels, reporting and communication procedures are second-to-none.

We provide complete textile recycling solutions, bespoke to each of our partners’ requirements. Our servicing and pricing models complement each other well, and we react quickly to meet expectations.

Our dynamic planning, monitoring and tracking technologies minimise overflowing banks, repeatedly demonstrating an increase in tonnage yields.

Our partnerships are governed by our highly-regarded Service Level Agreement (SLA) to achieve mutual goals, and our flexible approach allows us to adapt to each individual contract prerequisite.

We divert thousands of tonnes of textiles from landfill each year, helping our partners adhere to legislation such as the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012, whilst achieving their SCAP 2020 commitments and internal sustainability initiatives.

Our patented Recycling Banks are manufactured and branded at our in-house fabrication unit.

Each contract is implemented and managed by our dedicated in-house professionals, from the planning and execution stages through to the day-to-day servicing and collections.

Welding Banks

Don't just take our word for it

Leeds City Council have worked with BIU Group since 2006, helping to support our ambition to be a zero waste city by encouraging re-use and recycling. BIU have provided an excellent service; installing textile banks at over 60 locations across the city; offering an efficient service with regular collections and timely maintenance and redecoration as and where required. The partnership between LCC and BIU has helped to increase the amount of textiles intercepted for recycling in Leeds year on year, moving us closer to our zero-waste city ambition and we hope to continue to develop new ways to recycle more of this valuable resource.
