An Account Management role, working under the direction of the Charity Partnerships Manager. To oversee and extend key accounts, identification of new account opportunities and targeted growth of key textile recycling contracts for the allocated charities and regions. Effectively overseeing opportunities whilst being hands-on when required. Building and maintaining an excellent relationship with the major retailers, land owners, charity partners and any third party, ensuring you keep them updated about the partnership, and providing service excellence. • Work under the direction of the Charity Partnerships Manager to deliver service excellence to the major retailers, landowners, facilities management companies and charity partners. • Building and maintaining strong, long lasting customer relationships. • Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to the retailers or land owners needs and objectives. • Communication of monthly, quarterly and annual reports to all stakeholders. • Be a point of contact for BIU, charity partner, site owners and other parties relevant to contract. • Liaise with all relevant departments within BIU to ensure accounts run smoothly and efficiently. • Development of the existing reporting structures both internally and to stakeholders. • Ensure all recycling banks are serviced as per the contract requirements, and stock is delivered to designated depots. • Deal with site issues such as overflows, fly-tipping and vandalism. • Completion of administrative work, collating collection data, weights, reports. • Ensure all equipment, plant and machinery, PPE/uniforms are kept in working order / good condition. • Plan and attend meetings with BIU teams, key accounts, charity partners and any relevant third parties. • Ensure operations are carried out in an efficient and cost-effective manner, with minimal environmental impact. • Ensure terms of contract are adhered to at all times. • Be contactable during out-of-hours in case of any infrequent/rare issues. • Any other duties as and when required to suit business requirements. • Ensure self and team are adhering to health, safety, environmental and other company policies and procedures at all times. • Represent the company and its partners in a polite and professional manner at all times. • Ensure that company security is protected at all times, by controlling keys, fobs and alarm codes. • Adhere to BIU’s Company Values
